Due to the overwhelming number of fishing bots, a quick mitigation could be to introduce a simple mini-game or CAPTCHA-style check that appears randomly during long fishing sessions.
It wouldn't need to be anything complicated—just something custom to the server. Even a basic interaction that requires real player input would likely break most publicly available fishing bots and significantly reduce automated fishing without affecting legitimate players too much.
Another simple solution could be to apply a temporary effect that disables fishing for the player until they complete a specific interaction, such as talking to the Fisherman NPC.
This could be triggered periodically during long fishing sessions. Since the player would need to interrupt fishing and perform an additional action before continuing, it would break many basic automated fishing bots while remaining relatively unobtrusive for legitimate players.

Hello,
We have now enabled our Autoban system. Today alone, 72 users have been banned, and we expect more bans to follow in the coming days.
The system currently has a very high detection rate and will continue identifying and banning users who are detected. At the moment, the detection timer is still set a little too high, but over the next few days, we will be carefully tweaking it to find the appropriate timing for intervention.
We’ll continue monitoring its performance and making adjustments to ensure it is as effective and accurate as possible.
